Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights activist and charity philanthropist. She has graduated from Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law. Her lengthy career has been praised internationally by her contributions to international law and the field of human rights. Her notable clients include the people of Armenia which is fighting the Turkish government for the acknowledgement and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged in 2014 and later got married to American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household name. Prior to the wedding, she was well-known and admired in the legal world due to her accomplishments and skill at representing clients. Her work ranges between social justice and human rights to representing multinational companies during negotiations or court cases regarding government regulations.
