Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. After moving to Oxfordshire when she was five, she enrolled in The Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she decided that she wanted to be an actor. She studied for a number of years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a Part-time theatre school located in Oxford where she studied acting and singing. Her performances had been in numerous Stagecoach and school productions by the time she was 10 years old. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) is the movie adaptation from J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel premiered for the first for the first time on January 1, 1999. Emma was discovered by casting agents through Emma's Oxford theater teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone as well as Ron Weasley told Emma after seven auditions that she'd been picked for the role.
